The ProFresh^® Breath Care System is modeled after the first clinical protocol of its kind for the treatment of breath malodor introduced by Jon L. Richter D.M.D., Ph.D.  Dr. Richter has lectured internationally on the subject of breath malodor and has reported the results of his clinical protocol and studies in professional journals (Compendium, April, 96).  His achievements in the field of breath malodor research and treatment have been featured in USA Today, Reader's Digest, The New York Times, and on ABC's Good Morning America and 20/20.

Superior Halitosis Treatment

Dr. Richter discovered that the volatile sulphur compounds that are responsible for chronic halitosis are easily destroyed by chlorine dioxide (Cl02) which has long been used to safely disinfect and deodorize water supplies worldwide.  ProFresh is the only mouth rinse that can contain chlorine dioxide as an active ingredient. The U.S. Patent awarded to Dr. Richter for ProFresh excludes any other mouthwash from containing a significant amount of chlorine dioxide.

The ProFresh Breath Care System

Each bottle of ProFresh rinse is activated by the user upon opening.  This allows ProFresh to maintain the constant concentration of 25-35 mg per liter of chlorine dioxide over a period of 8-10 weeks after activation which is necessary to eliminate halitosis. ProFresh is registered with the FDA.

The ProFresh Breath Care System includes a 7-week supply of ProFresh Oral Rinse and provides patients with a complete package of materials and instructions to achieve a new level of oral hygiene.
