Freedom from Bad Breath in 3 Simple Steps

The ProFresh System is simple, inexpensive and easy. In just 2 minutes – twice daily – this simple routine is proven to give you total relief from bad breath.

Simply add these three easy steps to your dental hygiene routine:

Step 1 - Rinse and Garglewith ProFresh

    • Rinse vigorously with 1/4 ounce (one bottle cap) of ProFresh Rinse.
    • Tilt your head back, extend your tongue and gargle for an additional 10 seconds to soak the back of your tongue with the rinse. Then spit out.

Step 2 - Clean the Tongue

    • Place the edge of the ProFresh Tongue Cleaner firmly upon the back of your tongue and drag it forward.
    • Repeat 6-12 times, rinsing your mouth and the tongue cleaner with water each time. Be sure to clean the sides of your tongue as well as the middle to remove all tongue coating.

Step 3 - Rinse and Gargle with ProFresh

    • Rinse vigorously with 1/4 ounce of ProFresh Rinse for 20 seconds.
    • Tilt your head back, extend your tongue and gargle for an additional 10 seconds to soak the back of your tongue with the rinse. Then spit out.

The ProFresh Breath Care System contains a 50-day supply of ProFresh.  Because daily use is critical to maintaining fresh breath, you should reorder ProFresh Rinse when you open the last bottle.

Please Remember:

  • Each bottle of ProFresh Rinse must be activated before use (simply add Activator Pacs).
  • New users should add two “A” and two “B” activators to the first bottle. This provides an extra-strength rinse that will help dislodge the accumulated bacteria that cause your bad breath.
  • Do not use toothpaste before using ProFresh as it will decrease the effectiveness of ProFresh. You should brush with toothpaste right after using ProFresh.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I restore my confidence in my breath?

Scientific studies have proven that people cannot tell by themselves if their breath smells good or bad.  A friend or relative can easily confirm that ProFresh is working; this will help build confidence in your breath.

Why is the first bottle double strength?

When you first use ProFresh there will be an accumulation of excess bacteria on your tongue. In order to dislodge the built-up bacteria we have found a double-strength solution to be very effective.  Note: This double-strength solution may have a more salty taste than the single-strength solution you will use ongoing.

Why is there no flavor to ProFresh?

The active ingredient in ProFresh is chlorine dioxide, a very effective deodorizing and anti-bacterial agent. Its unique properties work to neutralize the organic bacteria in the mouth and the odors they generate. All flavoring compounds are also organic. If we added a flavor to ProFresh the chlorine dioxide would eliminate the flavoring compounds first, leaving less chlorine dioxide to work on the bacteria that cause bad breath. ProFresh is designed to fight the cause of your bad breath, not to cover it up with flavoring agents.

Is the tongue scraper hard to use?

If you have never used a tongue scraper before you may experience a gag reaction if you push the scraper too far back on the first try. Start by gently scraping from the middle of your tongue to the front. As you get used to that, move the scraper a little further back each day until you can reach the back of your tongue.

When do I use toothpaste?

Do not use toothpaste for at least 1 HOUR before using ProFresh as it will decrease the effectiveness of ProFresh. You should brush with toothpaste after using ProFresh. Using toothpaste is an important part of your daily oral health routine.
